Dear Paul,
I am Jeffrey Mugera from Kenya and i grateful and thankful to you and Lakewood mission team for the wonderful and generous free medical health care to the less fortunate and needy at Mfangano Island.God Almighty bless you all for no one can be able to pay you back your good deeds but Lord sees it and He will absolutely bless you with overflowing blessings and meet all your needs in abundance.
Its amazing to hear how you guys you treated people over there, encouraged them, prayed for them, giving messages of hope and leading the into salvation.I am touched by how you saved life of the woman with the bleeding issue and she got precise help when she was almost nearing to death.Thank you ,thank you.
I live and do business in capital city,Nairobi and i read books form Joel Osteen, watch his inspiring DVD for messages of hope and i subscribed for his daily devotional messages which i have also introduced to many people even to some i don't from facebook and the find it very paramount and imperative in their lives.
Next time when coming to mission in Kenya please count me in and i will do best i can and assist you.You welcome as you come.
God bless you Lakewood team and whole congregation as well.
Jeffrey.

Having been brought up at Chavuma it is good to read the comment on this site. My parents Fred and Dorothy Barnett were missionaries at Chavuma. My father lost his life below the Chavuma falls. The book "Like a River Glorious" tells of the life of Dorothy Barnett and her four children. The website www.thevisiblehand.co.za is a relevant contact.
Lord bless you all

Thank you and Jenn for making it out to Ngaoundere. I am extremely grateful for doctors like you, being Cameroonian and a medical student currently in the USA, I am inspired to follow the lead in medical missions someday. May the good Lord continue to give you strength and bless these endeavours you carry out.

My elderly mum for many years has been crocheting baby layettes for Chavuma Mission. This morning we packed another box - 6 baby layettes, babygrows, toys etc. My mum is 86 and my dad died earlier this year after 62 years of marriage. Her crocheting and knitting continues to keep her busy and occupied. She does know that her parcels can take many months to arrive. However Mum has had very little contact with Miss White in recent years and I would love it if she could be assured that the parcels are slowly arriving - and her knitting is still suitable for the new babies.
DO you have an email address for Miss White?
